Tried the game and absolutely a piece of art ! Would love to see more background and maybe more environments to the game to make sure we're totally immerse in it. Interesting gameplay would love to see more from it you're in a good way !
Really enjoy the various events, the theming for each character, the rooms - super curious to see where the game goes next. Can't wait to see more lore, rooms, bosses, things of that nature. I'm soo curious about the lore and Goddess! The no skin man is very fun! I played to the end of the current content (I think), it was very fun!
The unexpected events are truly ... unexpected. I'm always caught of guard when they happen. I love everything about this game !! I'm excited for more updates ^
Dude great job on this game. I REALLY enjoyed playing it. i just gotta ask, was the "Blooding mirror" Intentional? Seriously though, this game was a work of art.
Thank you so much for your feedback. Do you mean it's not very accurate? Unfortunately, my english isn't perfect, so there might be some errors here and there, haha
Yeah, the correct conjugation is "Bleeding mirror", but yeah, I totally understand if its not your first language, just wanted to give some feedback. And again, wonderful job on the game.
The game is not yet complete, I intended the "final boss" as an extra for those who want to continue playing a few more runs even after completing a run! I'm sorry you found it frustrating, I'll try to make things clearer in the next updates
the game is really good, had a fun time playing it. also I like all the art for the game. had only one problem, i like all of the locations but the game is kinda long and they get somewhat repetitive. i also found a bug: when emerging from another dimension #0 is at 1 hp and sacrifices 1 hp, he doesn't die and you get stuck. it was kinda annoying having to restart and lose all my progress. btw what were some inspirations when creating NO-SKIN? good luck in updating the game and I hope to see it on steam one day!
Hi Alex, thank you so much for your feedback. I'll address your questions in order:
I'm working to add as much variety and content as possible, so that each run is less boring!
I'm really sorry you had to start over due to the bug. Thank you very much for reporting it, the bug has been identified and will be fixed soon.
The idea for the game stemmed from wanting to create a game similar to roguelike deckbuilders, but without the cards and with a horror theme! Everything in the game naturally evolved from this initial concept
thx for the info, didn't expect you to respond so soon. i have a bit more questions if that's ok do you plan to release the game on steam in the future? if yes, do you have an estimated date? cause i would definitely buy it is there like a discord server where i can interact with others, get news about the state of the game, report bugs and that kind of stuff? what references/things do you draw inspiration from when creating the art for NO-SKIN?
With the upcoming updates, I'll assess whether the game will have enough content for an early access release on Steam!
The game is still too unknown for a Discord server, I'll consider opening one in the future.
The game doesn't draw inspiration from any particular artistic style, my aim was to create something visually original! I began with an old mockup featuring a photo for the background with a pixel art character in the foreground. All other assets were crafted while trying to adhere to the artistic direction of this mockup! (fun fact: it's also present in the game's data ;) )
Me and my chums love to play and rate Itch horrors in our private tier list and MAN this made it to S tier. Seriously great work!! Looking forward to the finished product! :D
Fantastic stuff!! I'm a big fan of these types of games (such as Slay the Spire), so I had a great time with this one. Looking forward to the finished product!!!
Super excited to see this keep getting developed! I like the mysterious nature of the whole thing, and the strategy is very satisfying, especially in the new version
just saying that this game has a lot of potencial and i love the aesthetic and gameplay system, im in love with your game so pls keep doing a great job!
That's the end of the game at faith level 0. It's a fixed obstacle indicating the end (for now) and appears at 60% completion. If you've encountered it in other contexts, let me know; it could be a bug! At higher faith levels, however, there's more to come, but the cap on the skin retrieval percentage isn't yet 100%; the game is still in development!
I'm really sorry that this isn't clear. Thank you for sharing your feedback, I'll try to make it clearer that the battle is a "glorified cutscene" and that you can't go beyond that battle at faith level 0 in the next updates!
I would also like to see the modifiers my weapons currently have with certain relics and items. I see it with first blood, but i would like to see Knife : 2 (+1) if i have used nightshade and other statuses because without interactive inventory stats i have to do guesstimates for how much damage i will do.
You're right, there's still too much information that the player needs to remember in certain contexts. I'll gradually try to add all this info. Thanks for the suggestion about the extra damage!
I got to 50% in about 20 minutes but you can technically go on forever if you just keep walking around the house I think. I’d say the full game is about 1 hour (if you’re taking your time)
This was a really fun game! I had fun trying to figure out what I had to do. I love the RNG aspect of the game; not knowing what event will spawn is thrilling! I didn't realize this was a demo. This was a good start. Can't wait for the full game!
I played a couple of runs and i can say that it is a very interesting game with a very entertaining playability that I have never seen before (i’m referring to the different rooms and the random events), i can’t wait for the full version to come out! and btw, i’m a native spanish speaker, so if you need help with translating the game from english to spanish, I would love to help!
Fantastic game. Seriously, when I got to the end I was craving for more (especially since I had gotten a really good setup that run before I got slapped at the end).
The general vibe of it is nice, and it doesn't feel too difficult once you get a feel for the strategy of the game. I'm surprised by how fun it was considering how much is in the game itself.
Out of all of the game elements, I would say the weakest one is running away. I think it's in part due to how running away from combat inherently has a negative consequence of you getting nothing. Combine that with the fact that you are likely to take a bunch of damage while trying to escape, choosing to fight just feels like the better option every time (Excluding enemies where you can't fight them and are forced to run away). This is especially so since you can get an item that makes the next combat encounter easier.
Also, something to keep in mind is shops and currency. I didn't run into the issue too often, but sometimes I'd end up with boatloads of money with no way to spend it since I kept getting into combat encounters rather than shop encounters. It's not so bad now, but I'm not sure if the same could be said if/when the game gets expanded. Just something to keep in mind.
Overall, fantastic demo! Really excited to see where you end up going with it and I wish you the best of luck!
Thanks a lot for playing and for your detailed feedback! The escape mechanic is designed to be used as a "last resort", for example, when the enemy is about to deliver a lethal hit. Currently, I'm not a fan of a strategy solely based on avoiding combat, which is why it's disadvantageous. Additionally, there are specific enemies where escape is the only option. As for the "currency and shop" issue, it's definitely something I noticed during testing, I'll work on balancing it better in the upcoming versions!
Fair enough! Makes sense that escape remains a last-ditch attempt to not die rather than a reliable option. In hindsight, I can't recall any rogue-like game where avoiding combat all-together was ever a viable strategy. Most of the time you either get stuck in a situation where you MUST defeat the foe/foes in the area before moving on, or the game punishes you for doing escaping (like how retreating in Darkest Dungeon causes stress on all the party members). Thank you for the response!
Also, if you have the time, I'm curious if you drew inspiration from any particular game.
Hey, love your game and am excited to see updates! One way I’ve seen this fixed is having the relative frequency of events become more common the longer it’s been since they’ve occurred, resetting once they occur. This allows it to stay probabilistic but more consistent overall.
This is great! I loved the Frogs and character designs. I managed to get the "ending" after a few attempts. There is a game breaking bug with the Sharp Knives however, about 80% of the time I encountered them I wasnt given the chance to do anything, as in the "knife / gun / items / escape" menu never appeared and I had to restart.
First of all, thank u for playing and for your feedback! And especially, I appreciate you pointing out the bug, I've just uploaded an updated version of the game with the bug fixed

This was a nice game to play. You did a good job making the atmosphere very scary. 5/5
Thank you, I'm very pleased that you enjoyed the atmosphere of the game!

That was really great, even though i don't know how i died xD . I like how it gets progressively more messed up as time goes on.
one thing i would say, if you plan on continuing to update it, is maybe combat music for different enemies.
Thank you for playing and for your feedback! You reached the end of the faith0 difficulty, there's nothing beyond that battle at that difficulty level
oh, ok
ciun ghiale
hello, i open the app and it says "fatal error" i can do something
If the fatal error is something like "Vertex Shader Compilation", you just need to install the Directx9 API!
Really nice game, good work !!
I've gone through ALL the content in this game... That was really awesome experience. Love the atmosphere and waiting for the new upd.

I'm truly glad you've experienced all that the game has to offer, and thank you for your feedback. I hope the upcoming updates meet your expectations!

Thank you for your gameplay, I really appreciate that you went straight for the Faith 1 difficulty!
Fantastic stuff!! I'm a big fan of these types of games (such as Slay the Spire), so I had a great time with this one. Looking forward to the finished product!!!
Thank you so much! Sometimes I think of this game as a "roguelike deckbuilder but without the cards", so the comparison is fitting haha

I just get a random unprompted non skippable crimson trio with 0% of escape. what can i do? kinda bs i had a few good runs

Simple, fun and beautiful, I loved every second of it. Would recommend.
I really appreciate it, thank you for your feedback
